Just over Bald Hill in Danby is one of the most species-rich forested wetlands in the State of New York. Flanked on both sides by forested mountains and soggy in the middle, the Michigan Hollow swamp hosts lush springtime dawn choruses. Native and migrant birds fill the morning air with song against the backdrop of the Michigan Hollow creek.
